===== Zipping A Single File =====

1. To compress a particular file/folder into a .zip file, click on the {{:laf:features:more-icon.png?40|}} button on its right, then select **Zip**.

2. Enter a name for the zip file and press **Create**.

3. A .zip file containing the selected item will be created.

===== Zipping Multiple Files =====

You can compress multiple files and folders into a .zip file via the following steps:

1. Select the files and folders by checking the checkboxes on their left.

2. On the list of buttons appearing above the file list, select **Zip**.

3. Enter a name for the zip file and press **Create**.

4. A .zip file containing the selected items will be created.

===== Unzipping a Zipped File =====

To decompress/unzip a .zip file:

1. Click on the {{:laf:features:more-icon.png?40|}} button on the right of the .zip file, then select **Unzip**.

2. The system will prompt a confirmation message. Click **Unzip** to proceed.

3. The .zip file will then be decompressed.
