When a web browser connects to a website, it can either use the HTTPS or HTTP protocol. Websites with URL that starts with HTTP uses the HTTP protocol, which is not capable of providing a secure encrypted connection, triggering the “Not Secure” warning.
If your website is showing up as “Not Secure”, it means that it is missing an SSL certificate.
To get browsers to display as “Secure”, it is necessary to enable HTTPS for your website, by installing an SSL certificate.
