Disabling Spoof Mails

Note: The “Allow spoof email” option has been deprecated following our SPF policy update in March 2025, as part of our efforts to enhance email security and prevent spoofing attacks.

We strongly recommend users to disable spoof mails for the security of email accounts. Read more about email spoofing.

1. Login as the Avomaster or voadmin.

2. Go to Profile > Admin.

3. On the left menu panel, click into SMTP Settings.

4. Select No for “Allow spoof mail”.

5. Click Update to save the changes.
