Email junk filters help ensure your inbox stays clutter-free by identifying and isolating spam or unwanted emails. Our system offers two types of junk filtering options: Global Junk Filter and Individual Junk Filter. Below are details about each filter to help you choose the best option for your domain and users.
The Global Junk Filter applies to all email accounts under your domain. It allows you to define organization-wide spam management rules, ensuring consistent filtering for all users.
Note that this setting can only be configured by the avomaster or voadmin.

The Individual Junk Filter provides each email user with personalized control over their spam settings. This option is ideal for users with unique email management needs.
Guide to Setting Up Individual Junk Filter >
Note that the Global Junk Filter option will override the Individual Junk Filter once it is enabled. This means that if both filters are active, the options defined in the Global Junk Filter will take precedence. The options in Individual Junk Filter will only take effect if the Global Junk Filter is disabled.
