Home > FAQ > Admin > Managing Domain and Web Hosting > What should I do if I have lost my CMS login information

What should I do if I have lost my Wordpress, Joomla or other CMS login information?

If you have forgotten your CMS login details, you can try the following solutions.

1. Contact Webmaster to Get the Login Details

Contact your webmaster or the website designer who developed your website and request for the CMS login and password.

2. Reset Password from CMS Login Panel

Most CMS will provide a password reset function on their login page. If you remember the email or username of your CMS account, you can use this method to obtain a new password. Please refer to this article on how to do so for each CMS.

3. Request for Password Overwrite from Lookafter

If none of the above solutions works, you can request our Helpdesk Team to perform a password overwrite to your CMS account. Please be informed that the password overwrite service is subject to a service charge. For more information, please contact helpdesk@lookafter.com.

Alternatively, you may opt for subscribing to our LAMP Maintenance Service, which includes website backup services and CMS version update. For details please contact our team at helpdesk@lookafter.com.
