An Alternate Email is a recovery email address that helps you get back your VO email account access. For example, if you lost your password or your account becomes compromised, you can request for password reset, and an email notification containing the password reset link will be sent to this alternate email.

An alternate email address can be any email address other than your VO email, be it your secondary or personal email address, such as xxx@gmail.com, xxx@live.com, etc.

To define your alternate email address, follow the steps below.

1. Login to your VO account.

2. Go to Email → General (Under Configuration).

3. Key in the email address on the given field under Alternate email.

4. Scroll down till the end of the page and click Update to save your setting.
